Le Paris de Roger-Viollet

On the occasion of its' 80 years anniversary, the Roger-Viollet agency invites you to the exhibition "Le Paris de Roger-Viollet" in the covered passages Saint-Emilion and Saint-vivant of Bercy Village.
A selection of 30 black and white photographs of the French Capital, from 1870 to 1980, taken from the book "Paris & Roger-Viollet" of "La vie du Rail" editions.
AEsthetic and historical, the exhibition invites to a stroll through the last century's French capital. From the construction of the Metro to the erection of scaffolding on Notre-Dame or the demolition of the Halles covered market, the images depict the architectural transformations of Paris.
Café terraces, children bathing in the river Seine, celebrities in their intimacy or during a film-shooting are telling Parisian life.
